For our second unit in this course, we did Microsoft Excel. To be honest, at the beginning, I did not know anything. To see myself back at the start, I am amazed by how much I've learned. I learned how to calculate the average of numbers (=average(B7:E7)), I learned how to calculate the minimum and maximum of numbers, I also learned how to sort, and many other things. Undoubtedly I will use this information in the future, and I am very happy that I know how to use Excel.
Another thing I learned in this unit was how to make pie, bar, and line graphs. I learned how to gather information and put it into a graph, as well as showing the name, number, and percent of the region. I now know how to place a title anywhere on the page, as well as labeling and inserting horizontal and vertical axis' in a bar graph. However, some of my difficulties included how to double sort, and the formula that included the constant number. Overall, I think this unit taught me a lot, and I am eagerly awaiting the future knowledge I will get.
With excel, I was a bit uncertain at first, and to this day have a lot to learn. I had difficulties with pie graphs, and that is pretty much it. I had difficulty with changing the color of the sections, and putting the information on the outside of the piece. I also had trouble with editing the little sub-headers, and where to click so I could change them. Overall, I feel that I improved my knowledge of Microsoft Excel greatly, but feel that I have a lot more to improve on.
